I'm not sure what you mean. But a Muslim is the one who testify that there is no God, but Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and last messenger. Only Allah will judge us and He decides who go to Paradise or Hell according to their scales of good and bad deeds. The more bad deeds, the longer a Muslim will stay in the Hellfire and Allah will decide when's the time for him/her to be done and be sent to the Paradise.
when Jesus says that His words are life, He is saying that if you choose to obey them, you are choosing life.
