Need to know iif its a revolver or semi-automatic and the caliber.
You will need a professional appraisal and contact Colt to get a historical letter.
I have a colt 32 automatic hammerless pistol and i would like to know the value of it.
Are you asking if the gun came from the factory that way? Contact Colt Firearms, and ask for a "factory letter". It will tell you the exact date it was shipped, what it looked like, and who it was shipped to.
made by Colt in 1943. Value would depend on overall condition of the pistol............
Remington 1858 cap & ball looks like a navy colt to me
The straight is better for accuracy, but pistol is more comfortable for sustained fire (like target practice.) I prefer pistol 'cause that's what I hunt with.
Apparently, someone is target shooting.
this is like asking what is a ford 1xxx car worth ????? and, condition has to do with value.....................
The Sierra Six looks like a ruger single six- or a colt peacemaker. Basically it looks like any pistol you would see on an old western movie. A good- low cost shooter....
direct your question to: coltautos.com
that is like asking what is the value of an old Ford car. You MUST always answer question: model, condition, what is written on barrel, serial number..............
Condition is everything. This sounds like it could be a 1911 Colt government model but serial number don't tell you everything. If it is a 1911 Colt GI pistol (that could have been made in 1917) it could be worth as much as $2000 in excellent condition to as little as $300 in poor condition. Take it to a reputable gunshop, pawn dealer or gunsmith and have them give you a better idea as to worth.
