It looks like the cord used to plug into the phone from the phone jack only a little bigger, but it does have that thing you push in remove the plug and hear a click when you connect it.

look at the panel on the back near the line cord. or the manual. But time is not a factor. If it uses 50 watts, it uses that power for 5 minutes, an hour, a week.

No As of October 24, 2008 it does not look like there is a Wii version. Nintendo always seems to try to stay kid friendly.
A good place to look for an extension cord would be a hardware store. Like ace hardware. Other places where you can buy one are Home Depot and Lowe's.
