Most of its fur is brown, but its chest, abdomen, and throat are white.
A ringtail possum is a native marsupial of Australia (although other sub-species may be found in Indonesia and New Guinea). Unrelated to opossums, the ringtail possum is primarily red-brown in colour, with the length of an adult averaging 30-35cm, excluding the tail. Its name comes from the fact that its tail is curled and partially prehensile.
The kudamonde, or coati, is a type of raccoon. It is a small animal and it often has a ringtail and a distinctive snout, similar to a pig.
possums are like a huge fat cat with hand like paws, a long bushy tail and thick fur.
A pygmy possum is a tiny marsupial of Australia and, just like its name suggests, like a miniature possum, ranging from 7-11 cm in head-body length. It has a long, curling tail and large black eyes. Most pygmy possums are grey with paler fur underneath. However, the Southwestern Pygmy Possum, also known as the Western Pygmy Possum, is different to its eastern cousins. It is a bright cinnamon colour. To find out more about pygmy possums and to see pictures, click on the related link below.

In George Jones' own words: "I had an album out with a side view of me with a crew cut. I was very young, and my nose looked more turned up, and I've got little beady eyes so I guess I did look like a possum! So they both laid into me and called me 'Possum,' and it got everywhere. There was no way I could stop that, so (I thought) I'll just have to live with that!"

Possums that live in the city still feed on vegetation, fruit and nectar, as there are plenty of plants in suburban areas, causing possum populations to flourish. In addition, many possums have been known to feed on pet food that is left outdoors, while others are fed bread and honey by misguided homeowners.
First, build a house of wood or something like that and put a hole for the door you will be needing this. Then take it outside to the tree that has the possum in it and place it in the tree. Now that you have placed it in the tree all you have to do is every now and then look in the tree to see if the possum has moved in to the house. When it has, get a piece of cardboard big enough to cover the hole. Now slowly cover up the hole with that piece of cardboard and sticky tape it on. Now go for a walk ( Bring some scissors or a sharp knife ( not to kill it ) and find a nice tree. Then place it in that tree. Now all you have to do is cut the cardboard and take the cardboard off .
There are about 70 known species of possums. Possums range in size from being as small as an adult human's finger (e.g. pygmy possums), to just over one metre in length, tail included (e.g. brushtail and ringtail possums). Their fur ranges in colour from grey to brown-grey, with some varieties having a russet colour. The Western Pygmy Possum is a bright cinnamon colour. Possums have long, thick, furry tails which are used for balancing. Their tails are not truly prehensile, but they do help them grip electric wires and narrow tree branches. The brush-tailed possum has a distinctive, thick tail while the ring-tail possum's tail is thinner, with a distinctive curl. Possums are arboreal; they are adept climbers with sharp claws, and they also use their front claws to grasp and hold food. Note that possums are completely different animals from the opossum of North America, and a not even in the same family.
