Two bright red fountains of blood erupts initaily about two feet into the air from the corotid arteries that are on each side of the neck and then continues less pronounced for a moment as the heart is still beating, draining the body's supply of blood until there is not enough blood pressure to maintain coronary blood supply to the heart, at which point the heart stops beating. Mostly darker blood drains in large gouts from the head (from the jugular veins). The face may continue to animate briefly in various ways (jaw opens, eyes focus and or look around, facial twitches, etc.) while the body goes through post mortem spasms/twitching.
