They eat most of the same stuff other dogs do, just don't feed them onions or chocolate, which is very poisonous to them. Bishons are also known to love carrots, I feed my own three a few each night as a bed-time snack.
Bishon's usually live about 15 years but I have known some to die at 9 if they have a medical condition like a heart murmur.
About 1 year of age
The 2001 Best in show winner at the Westminster was a Bishon Frise. J.R. (Showtime Just Right) was the only Bishon to win Best in show at Westminster at that time.
A shaking and retreating dog could be frightened or in pain.
it depends on the dogs example:a teacup yorkie and a bishon frise will have small puppies
It's perfectly fine unless it has any onion or onion seasoning on it which is very bad for bishons.
Yes, a Bichon Frise and a Bichon Bolognese can be mixed. The result will be a puppy that is intelligent and fluffy.
Bishon Frise is one breed that does not shed- nor produce "dander" and are considered hypoallergenic.
Bishon's are known as the "cry baby" dogs for the most part because they form extreamly strong bonds with their owners. You can think of a bishon as being like a child with very bad separation issues. But this becomes better with age. Not that having an enthusiastic welcome everytime you leave and enter a room is annoying or anything...
Not really Bichon Frises are usually small or medium dogs. You can check out dogbreeds.com to find out the actual heights if you please.
Susan Lucci (Erika Cane from All My Children) I also believe, the oh so amazing designer, Betsey Johnson has a baby bichon.
No. If you are allergic, look into getting a hypoallergenic dog. These dogs have hair, like humans, instead of fur. Some of these dogs are poodles and bishon frises.
