What does it mean if your period came on the 28 last month but the 31 the next month?

It means your period came at different times of the month, nothing more mystifying than that - when your period is due isn't determined by the date on the caldendar, it is determined by your menstrual cycle.

How often is there five weeks in a month?

There are different ways of looking at that. On is to say that there are never 5 weeks in a month. There would need to be 35 days in a month for a month to have 5 weeks. 31 days is the most any month has. Of course a month can have days within 5 individual weeks and even in 6 individual weeks, either of which can happen with months of 30 and 31 days. So if the 1st of January was a Saturday, that would be that last day of one caldendar week, and it would then have 4 full weeks of 7 days end on the Monday of a 6th calendar week. Every 30 and 31 day month will have days in at least 5 different calendar weeks. When February has 28 days, it will have days in 5 different weeks if it does not start on a Sunday. When it has 29 days, it will have days in 5 different weeks.

Who is p k shaw who's quotations are on desk calendars?

I am P.K. Shaw. My name is Pamela Shaw and I moved from Sydney to Perth almost five years ago. I commenced writing my "sayings" in the late 1960's and started looking for a market in 1974. Twelve of my quotes were used by W.W. Nevill, a subsidiary of Collins Olympic, now known as Collins Debden, on the Group's desk calendars in 1976. I had been associated with Collins Debden from those early days to 2002 when I prepared the desk caldendar quotations for the 2004 desk calendar, for the last time, a task I had performed for about ten years. I met WGP in late 1974 or early 1975 when I visited him at WW Neville in Alexandria where he worked in the printing section as manager back in the days when desk calendars were printed in Australia. They are now printed in China or Singapore. William George Plunkett died in 1975 and I am privileged to have met him.
