it looks like dominoes with hair coming out of it
Epithelial tissue or more simply epithelium covers and lines body surface and forms glands. Cells of epithelium are very set very close to each other, neighbouring cells are held together by cell junctions or desmosomes. The desmosomes of macula adherens made of tonofibrils. The epithelial tissue rests on a thin extracellular basement membrane, secreated partly by epithelial cells and partly by underlying connective tissue. Epithelial cells may have microvilli, sterocilia, kinocilia or flagella. They are of two types: connective and lining epithelium and gladular epithelium
The respiratory is made of different cells. Some of them are connective tissue such as cartilage, others are epithelial, like the lining inside, and others are musclular like the ones that help expand and contract to tubes.
Ciliated Cells look like long, wavy hairs found near the lungs. Another weird thing is that they look like sea anemonie!
I think that the bottom of epithelial cells is closest to blood vessels (if one were to look at a flat 2D image. Endothelial cells similarly would have the top of the cell closest to blood vessels.
Cuboidal cells
squamous cells
they look like seeds
Ctenophores are characterized by 8 ciliated rows used for locomotion. These cilia are stacked to look like a comb or "ctene". Therefore their name means comb bearer. They beat these ciliated rows in the water to propel themselves. However, they are subject to tides and winds.
The urethra, male or female, doesn't look like much - it is a simple tube composed of stratified squamous epithelial cells.
it looks like a regular cell but alone
epithelial tissue
It is a green looking cell.
