I can't say for the pet kind, however street rats here in Chicago smell much like musty urine, almost a dirty wet dog or cattle smell. It's not the rat your smelling it's the urine and feces they leave behind. It's pretty gross. If you have more then a few the smell can get pretty bad.
Yes, because mice they have a keen sense of smell and will start to smell "human" around it or, worse, the smell of "death" because of the dead mice that came before them.
A smell will not harm you. But the rotting bodies will carry germs and parasites.
Mice are known to be sensitive to the smell of a dead conspecific, which can deter them from coming out or approaching the area. The scent signals danger and a potential risk to their safety, so they may avoid the area to minimize any threat to themselves.
Some rats and mice just like the taste or smell of it. :)
You could try rubbing them on a Dead Rat that you can buy in a pet store that has been frozen, sometime the different smell will encourage them to eat the mouse.
Yes. It's not an overwhelmingly strong odor if they're dry, but you can smell them.
Mice are actually very clean. Male mice do produce a strong smell, but female mice have no detectable smell at all.
No, mice have a better sense of smell .
Well, do not know if you are asking if mice have the sense of smell or that they put out an odor. First, mice have a very good sense of smell second, mice will only put out an odor that people can smell if their cage is not kept really clean.
i mean, like them, smell better not the cage or anything
No plant smells like anything dead. Certain strains of marijuana can smell similar to a skunk.
It works to get rid of diseases in the air, while acting as expectorant. The mice do not like the smell of wintergreen or peppermint.
