Well, I think if yo need to start off with what the person in you story is doing I like to start off with the morning, you can also add the rain pit pattered on the ground. So be descriptive to make it good. To make a good ending put a conclusion of what happened to the person you don't need to be too descriptive but make the reader able to understand what your writing don't you think.
