abs/dsc light.
Yellow triangle is the traction control light, It comes on( flashes) if you get wheelspin, like on an M# in the rain;). It will stay on if you turn DSC off, or if you have a wheel speed sensor problem(asb light would also be on)
The yellow warning symbol is your traction control. It will come on temporarily if you have poor traction, or if you disable traction control by pressing the DSC button, it will stay lit until you turn traction control back on, or you turn the car off.
Dynamic Traction Control. A part of DSC. (Dynamic Stability Control)
You will have to be a bit more descriptive. If its outside, its the indicator. If its inside, it could be DTC/DSC. That will look like... an exclamation mark in a triangle in an almost complete circle with an arrow on the left side. This is the cars traction control, stability control and anti-spin mechanism. DTC is a section of DSC and that is your "Dynamic Traction Control." DSC is "Dynamic Stability Control." You can restrict DTC/DSC by pressing the DTC button on your dash board or turn the system off all together by holding the button for 3-4 Seconds. If you have a big engine though, you better be awake if you do that!
Dynamic Stability Control...It needs to be on under most driving conditions because it helps your car maintain traction under extreme braking and turning. Read the manual. It may say to turn DSC off when you are in ice and snow.
Keep Momentum, Gentle Throttle Application, DTC/DSC On.
The circle with an exclamation point means you've turned off your DSC (Dynamic Spin Control.)
If it was flashing ocasionally it means the DCS (Dynamic Stability Control) was engaging preventing wheel spin more than likely. If it was on constantly it means you have turned off the DSC.
AS good as it's tires. DSC, ABS, TC, are all useless if you don't have a good set of SNOW/Winter TIRES!
DSC Limited was created in 1978.
