I belive one type is an argon laser.
A hene laser work using a tube filled with helium and neon gas, and two mirrors. When the gas is excited, one mirror reflects the laser completely, while one lets a smaller percent of the desired wavelength pass through which emits the laser.
To get a LASER to work you need to excite it with energy. The most workable form of energy to do that is electricity. There ae several ways of exciting LASERs to work.
No all laser printers require an imaging drum to in order for the laser to write the image on.
Semiconductor laser
You will need at least a ged to take laser training. This is a fast growing and exciting field to work in.
If you own a laser printer, you do need to purchase a new cartridge in order for the printer to work. Each printer has specific cartridges that will work with these printers. Pouring in ink into any printer will not work and can potentially break your electronic device.
A semiconductor laser is a type of laser which utilizes a semiconductor as its Photon source, rather than a gas (Argon, CO2, Etc...) laser which uses inert gas as an active medium. Many physicists and engineers consider a semiconductor laser a type of "Solid-State" or "Two-State" LASER.
It does need to be relatively close to your computer destination
solid
Chemicals,carbon dioxide,agron gas,and semiconducters produce a laser.
The purpose of the fuser in a laser printer is quite necessary. It is the part of the printer that heats up and makes the entire printing process possible. Without it, a laser printer would not work.
None, LASER diodes are solid state semiconductor devices.
