Horses have the flight instinct, if something scares them they will choose to run first and only fight if they have no other option
That is the fear of horses.
I know the fear of horses is : Equinophobia. but I am not sure there is one specifically for horse jockeys.

A horse of any age will respect you - but only if you teach it with kindness. Much of the current training methods train through fear, not respect. You can certain train a horse through fear, but that horse will NEVER respect you.

This really can only be obtained with the horse having experience. Only with drugs will a horse be more docile and that is not advised. As a horse goes through life the experiences it has teaches it what to fear and what not to fear, so the more the horse experiences the more it learns and the more docile it will become.
The fear of a horse is a serious matter. I use to have Hippophobia but out grew it after i slept in a barn with it.
