it all depends on how dismantled the gun is. if the spring is already placed in the slide you need to put the slide on and insert the locking pin. there are to many variations to cover so you need to be more specific
You compare the rifling marks on the bullet to the rifling in the barrel. You can also compare the firing pin mark on the primer to the firing pin on the gun.
