Like buterflies, moths usually suck the nectar out of various flowers. And, of course, moths eat clothing, so don't let the moth out. You should put a damp paper towel in the container, and collect various flowers. If you remember where you found the moth/caterpillar, search there for flowers. Also, look on "google" or "ask" to try and find the type of moth you have, because it might be harmful or poisonous (yeah, some moths are poisonous). Be sure not to really annoy the moth during daylight, because they are nocturnal, so they are mostly active during night. If you do wake it up, it will most likely fly all over the place, flailing and running into walls, but the moth will fall asleep in a matter of minutes. Don't keep the moth forever, you should probably let it go in the summer, unless it is not dead by then (moths live short lives). Well, those are the basics.
