Pill bugs or roly-poly bugs are crustaceans in the woodlouse family.
Yes they do they are birds, Frogs , rodents and guard snakes.
Rolly-Polly bug is another name for the Woodlouse. These little crustations are known by many other names such as cheese log, pill bug, rolly-polly, roll up bug, salter, sow bug, and armadillidiidae. They are not insects. Insects have only 6 legs. rolly-polly bugs have 7 pair of legs (14 legs).
If you're referring the harmless Pill Bugs, they are scavengers and eat dead things (like plants, small bugs)
Bugs drown in liquid so they don't drink anything.
pill bugs
The scientific name for rolly pollies is Armadillidium vulgare.
liquid
Creating a rolly polly habitat is fun! You'll need any largish container, (preferably clear) plants, rocks, and food. For containers, you could even use boxes but then you won't get to watch the rolly pollies. You can just pull weeds and grass by the roots from the garden and replant them in the container. And feed them veggies and strawberries. Don't let them mold in the container though. Replace them every couple of days. Remember to put dirt in and spray it everyday so the bugs don't dry out. I would put a screen on top so they don't get out. Have fun!
A pill bug or Rolly polly. They are small bugs that eat decaying and rotting vegetation and can usually be found in forests and residencial yards. They are technically not bugs(insects) at all but a land dwelling creature belonging to the Crustation family. They breathe through gills which is why they are often found in wet damp areas.
