A warped rotor makes a scraping noise. The rotor will no longer sit flush with the wheel and what ever it rubs against will create a loud metal scraping noise.

A warped rotor or rotors can cause a pulsation when applying the brakes. The car may shake a bit or a lot, depending on the condition of the rotor(s). Further diagnosis is recommended (and soon) as warped rotors may lead to loss of control of a vehicle that is braking.
Check for a worn or warped break rotor on the front driver side. You may need to replace the break pads and rotor.
