∙ 11y agoA blue and gold macaw eats fruit/vegetables, seeds, nuts and an occasional small rodent in the wild. I feed mine primarily zupreem pellet food and everything from pasta to chicken legs. The things they cannot eat are iceberg lettuce, avocado, chocolate, and eggplant, otherwise anything that's (very) healthy for you is good for him/her.
