The blunt knife did not cut me through the bone; however, it sliced my skin and left a gash that would stay for days to come, and eventually become a slight scar, paling against my natural tan. Blunt can mean either not sharp, or speaking in a direct and tactless way. He has a blunt way of speaking. The knife is blunt.
