The volatility of a substance it the ease at which a substance evaporates
Volatility is the aptitude of a substance to be transformed in vapors.
It means how fast the product evaporates. This is very important if the chemical is flammable (the faster it evaporates the more likely it is to explode rather than just burn) or poisonous.
There may be no difference between a Material Safety Data Sheet and a Chemical Safety Data Sheet, except the title. Whether there is a difference depends on who compiled the document and what purpose they had in mind.
All chemicals have a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). Refer to the MSDS of the chemical, the data sheet will instruct on proper disposal. Or, call the manufactuer of the chemical. They will instruct on proper disposal or refer you to the chemical MSDS.
MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheet. That is an obsolete term; it is now called simply Safety Data Sheet. An SDS is a document created by a chemical's manufacturer, distributor, or importer, that describes what it is, what is in it, who made it, what its basic chemical and physical properties are, what its hazardous and toxic effects are, and what regulatory requirements may apply to its use, spill, or disposal.

CAS is the acronym for the well known Chemical Abstract Service.

The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
There is probably no SAfety Data Sheet for nylon bar stock because it is an artcle, not a chemical.
Ask your supervisor for the Safety Data Sheet, before proceeding with the work.
MSDS or Material safety data sheet
A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is a document that contains information on the potential hazards (health, fire, reactivity and environmental) and how to work safely with the chemical product. It is an essential starting point for the development of a complete health and safety program. You can get this Material Safety Data Sheet from authorisations as like "International Chemical Safety Data Solution"
There are several different names for it - material safety data sheet (MSDS), safety data sheet (SDS), or product safety data sheet (PSDS)
