co2 is the gas that we exhale. Scientist's think this gas causes global warming. ( plants filter co2 )
Well the science behind using carbon dioxide is kinda simple! Why are they made? To catch people like asylum-seekers and refuges who are doing bad. They detectors sense carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is science so you have to explain about carbon dioxide and respiration. We give out co2 afta breathin in oxygen right? well that's science! there you go quite simpal init..?!Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/The_science_behind_using_carbon_dioxide_detectors#ixzz1BQAvvGlzwhat is the science behind using co2 detectors
The blood changes from low CO2 to high CO2 in the tissues where oxygen is delivered and CO2 is produced as a byproduct of cellular metabolism.
The equation for the dissolution of CO2 in water is: CO2 H2O H2CO3
The balanced chemical equation for the combustion of methane is CH4 + 2O2 -> CO2 + 2H2O. This means that for every mole of CH4 that reacts, one mole of CO2 is produced. The molar mass of CO2 is about 44g/mol, so 22g CO2 is equivalent to 0.5 moles. Therefore, 0.5 moles of CH4 are required to produce 22g of CO2.
The product in the reaction of CH4 + 2O2 => CO2 + 2H2O is carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).
yes,co2 is important to science.because co2 is released by human beings and used by plants these are parts of science
carbon dioxide
by air, water,sunlight & CO2
the co2 Detectors detects co2 and in the thing they should be about 0.03 co2 if not they something living in there
Carbon dioxide contributes to global warming.

Various science websites (howstuffworks, scienceofspeed) have images of co2 cars along with explanations of what they are. Also, hobby/enthusiast websites would have pictures of them if they are indeed sold at that specific store.
A timetable for science is a, more like a chart and it shows the gases and metals and shows you the short version of it E.G.Carbon Dioxide: CO2, Water: H2o, Gold:Au if i know what you are asking it is called a PERIODIC TABLE.
It really is not a problem. Currently CO2 levels are at a global level of 0.037%. Nature produces the vast bulk of this CO2 and life would stop on the planet if level dropped to 200 PPM. If you look at the Vostok webiste (where we get our old climate data from) one of the complaints that science experts have is the level of CO2 is too low! Only 280 PPM. Without CO2 the planet would be extremely cold and quite dead. Our oceans, which collect most of the CO2 from or atmosphere, do an awesome job of pulling the CO2 out of the air!

Co2 cars arrived as early as 1947.. Douglas / Santa Monica plant engineers made and raced some of the first co2 jet cars for a little noon hour racing. Check out.. the Popular Science magazine issue Feb 1947 ( pages 102 & 103) for photos on this race. Some of the early co2 car kits were made by Monogram models in 1947/48 as well. There first co2 powered car kit was called the Hot Shot jet car. This was an instant hit, followed by the Terra jet, Aqua jet, Mono jet, and the Mid jet co2 car kits.
