It Means if you make a idol ( Like a statue ) Don't make it so you can worship it So if you are a Christian The Bible says obey the ten commandments and one says Do not worship other idols because we believe there is one and only god. It Means do not make a statue or Idol to worship because you should only worship god.

AnswerActually it also means a lot more that this.

Some of the Jews of those times put other things (like fame and power) before God in heir lives. And the same happens today.

God requires us to place him first in our lives over and above everything else. Today's idols are things like wealth, fame, power, a bigger car, adulation of a pop star, a better house, the top mobile (cell) phone that is better than our friends', a bigger TV than our neighbours and so on. Whilst all these things are OK in themselves, when they become central to our lives over and above God, they become idols.

"Don't make any idols to worship" means that one should not create or idolize anything or anyone as a deity or object of devotion. It is a reminder to not place excessive importance or reverence on material possessions, individuals, or beliefs, but rather to focus on values and principles that are virtuous and meaningful.

It is easy for Hindu to switch mind from one and many and infinite. Only Hindus can unlock and be truly liberated souls;easily!!!

What is pratika in Indian language?

In "Indian" language? What exactly is "Indian" language? If the question is, "What does pratika mean?" The answer is that pratika refers to objects used in worship such as images and idols. The pratika becomes an object of devotion and ritual worship as the devotees offer food to, bathe, burn incense before, pray to, etc. Pratika is ordinarily associated with the vast conglomeration of religious groups labeled, rather akwardly, Hinduism.
