After Bella, Edward, and Alice return from Italy and Rome, Edward returns Bella home, Charlie yells at Edward and banned him from 'entering the door of their house' so Edward snuck in through Bella's window. Bella and Edward have a little chit-chat about the Volturi and why he did what he did in the first place -Starting from a quarter of the book, maybe chapter 2 or 3- Then they kiss and make up. Bella and Edward go to the Cullen's house and Rosalie apologizes to Edward and Bella for lieing to Edward -which got him in the mess he was in Italy-. Bella asks the Cullens to vote. Vote to have Bella turn into a vampire -as the Volturi demanded- to be immortal, or just stay human forever. At the end of the voting, Bella was told from the Volturi that Alice had to transform her, but Carlisle offered because he wouldn't loose control over the thirst of blood. Bella rejected their offer and asked Edward to do it in like 3 years when shes 19. Therefore Edward and Bella has a talk and ended up making-up. THE END! :D

In the novel, Edward doesn't offer to take Bella home from school, he forces her, she does not want to but then she gives up and gets in his car anyway. He takes her home due to her feinting in her Biology class because of the smell of blood, as they were blood typing that lesson (Edward was not in the class of course but he saw Mike taking Bella to the nurses office and went to help out- carried her there. This is not included in the film if you are confused).
