eminem wrote it as a diss to Ja Rule
The reason they dislike each other is because Ja Rule insulted Hailie. (eminems daughter)
Ok This Is How It All Started Off, Ja Rule Did A Song Called "Loose Change" He Said This About Eminem's Daughter, Hailie Jade - Em ya claim ya mother's a crackhead and Kim is a known slut, so what's Haley gon' be when she grows up? - When Eminem Heard That, He Dissed Ja Rule Back With His Diss Song Called "Hailie's Revenge". Then Ja Rule Came Back With Diss Song Mentioning Dr. Dre, And Then Eminem Cameback With Bully{Ja Rule Diss}, Then In 2003, FINALLY ! Eminem Remade Hail Mary, With 50 Cent & Busta Rhymes. Since They Did That, Ja Rule Has Not Came Out With Nothing New.
Eminem cites 2Pac as one of his inspirations, Eminem thinks of him as one of the greatest rappers of all time.Ja Rule recorded a diss song for Eminem sampling one of 2Pac's songs. Eminem released a song called 'Doh Rae Me (Hailie's Revenge)' in reply to Ja Rules's song in which he quotes;"Ja quit playin, knock it off your not 2Pac"He was saying that Ja Rule was trying to replace 2Pac and that he can't replace "the late great one"and when he dies he's only gonna be "the late fake one"

This is opinional. But some consider Eminem to be hateful. Eminem's song "Kim" was extremely hateful towards his ex-wife Kim. Eminem has been considered to be homophobic and therefore "hateful" towards gays. Eminem denied the claims saying the lyrics were mis-interpretted. Eminem has been hateful as to say towards other rappers in feuds, such as Ja Rule and Benzino.
Yes. If someone messed with your little girl, you'd hate them too.
Eminem never had a "Rival". But now I belive his rival is Mariah Carey. Edit: I think Eminem did have a rival back in '05 I think it was when Ja Rule dissed Halie Jade Mathers, Eminem's daughter, in the song Loose Change. This started the whole big fight of Murder Inc. and Shady Records. But as you can see now Eminem and all of his rappers basically made Ja Rule lose his rapping career because you never hear of his songs anymore
