This is an idiom meaning that you are not giving the person what you know they want, but are deliberately stalling or giving them misinformation. The image is of them running around trying to get somewhere, and you're pointing in the wrong direction. You typically hear this said when people are trying to deal with a big corporation that doesn't want to pay them what is owed, or that doesn't want to provide service that is owed.
"Give them the run around" means "mislead them", "give them false information", "do not answer their questions", etc
If you run someone ragged, you keep them running until they are exhausted.
When someone is 'giving someone a run around', their usually playing games with the person, being indirect with their emotions, taking advantage of someone or so on. In general, it's not a very good thing to have done to you.
It could mean that she is VERY shy, I would run after her and talk to her about it, probably should give her some time though, otherwise... maybe she wasn't the one.
It means to run water and fill up the tub for someone to take a bath.
They're saying you run fast.
To "run over" means to hit with an automobile -- usually if you run over an animal, it will die.
move around like crazy then run turn around then shoot him
You run man, just run and don't stop.
It mean to run two miles around your red house
It means to make something worthwhile. Eg: "You need to ride the Nighthawk. That coaster will definitely give you a run for your money."
Please could someone give me the answer to this quickly as it is my science hmwrk
