What does god say about killing?

It appears that he does.

"And he shall kill the bullock before the Lord..." (Lev.1:5).

"And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering..." (Lev.14:13).

"Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people..." (Lev.16:15).

"And if any woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shall kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death..." (Lev.20:16).

"Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. And do abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day." (Num.31:16-19)

"Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God..." (Deut.12:15).

"If thy brother... entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods... namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you... thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shalt thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: but thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God... "To every thing there is a season... a time to kill, and a time to heal..." (Eccle.3:1-3).

Additional Comments:

The Sixth Commandment reminds us that God is the giver of life, and He alone has the authority to take it or grant humans permission to take it (speaking of another human life).

As our Creator God, He alone has the authority over His creation - and this includes the right to end someone's life. God says that only the true God has the right to kill or take life (physical) and make life. But we must remember that His taking of physical life at this time is not the end. All face a judgement process (renewed again in a new physical body) and only a relative few will refuse repentance and the gift of eternal life - they will be cast into the Lake of Fire and be fully destroyed. This is the 2nd death and it will be by choice by those who will partake of it:
