There was a time green meant jealousy or envy. Hence the expression "green with envy."
These days green is considered a calm colour connected with nature and the out-of-doors.
There is also currently the connection between "being green" and being environmentally conscientious.

"Ram's Head White Hollyhock and Little Hills" by Georgia O'Keeffe represents a deep connection to nature and the American landscape. The painting features a close-up view of white hollyhocks set against a backdrop of rolling hills, emphasizing the beauty and simplicity of flora. O'Keeffe's use of color and form highlights the emotional resonance of the natural world, capturing both the delicate and the bold aspects of her environment. The work reflects her broader themes of abstraction and her love for the New Mexico landscape.
The Blue Screen of Death was originally implemented in early versions of Windows NT. Windows NT was capable of running on a variety of computers, including those with MIPS, PowerPC, and Alpha processors. On Alpha computers, the console that NT crashed could only display blue. Since they wanted a common crash indicator across all computers, the color blue was chosen for every platform, even if the color could have been something else.
All Windows systems in the NT line (NT 3.1, NT 3.5, NT 3.51, NT 4, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008) support multiple users.
