it protects you from the heat from a flat iron or any sort
Before. What's it going to help after it's applied?
You don't have to, but if your hair is very brittle or fragile, I'd recommend it.
No, a thermal protectant is designed only to protect hair during heat styling. It offers no amount of hold as a hairspray would.
You first spray the layer of hair that you are going to straighten. Then wait about 30 sec and start straightening. That simple. Make Sure you stray your hair everywhere to prevent damaged hair
use a curling wand no lower price than £15 and spray hairspray on every section of your hair when you curled a section then it will stay in all day
Blow drying cant affect your hair , Allot of people will say that the heat of the blow dryers will ruin and affect your hair. it depends on why type of hair you have! If you feel your hair seems very dry and knotty and rough then you need to buy some heat protectant spray , you can buy heat protectant especially for blow drying which should help :) xHope this helps :)Sarah x
yougurt not alot or you will look like a loser
Yes, it is bad to straighten your hair everyday. Reason why, is because the more heat that you apply to the hair cuticle it will become damaged and break off. Yes some products do help depending on ingredients that it has in them my favorite is the Paul Mitchell super skinny serum for dryness and frizz and for heat protectant i would use a spray or a serum. ALWAYS use a heat protectant and try not to straighten your hair everyday.
I think the best heat protectant is tresseme heat protectant it is only around 4 pounds and gives a really nice finish to your hair. Its the best i have tried and i have gone through loreal, own brands, vo5 etc.
Well, you don't NEED to protect your hair, although it would help with not damaging it. :) Some shampoo/conditioners have heat protectant in them. You could also use a split-end meander, this wouldn't fix your split-ends, but it would help conceal them. The best thing to do though is buy a heat protectant. They aren't very expensive and last for a LONG time! It's a great investment! My favorite is the Chi 44 Iron Guard. Good luck! :)
Heat can be very damaging to your hair. That is why heat protectant is very important. I have reviewed some products and have some great information see the related link below:
You can, but make sure to use a heat protectant, otherwise your hair will get very damaged and broken.
