What does it mean if you give a guy a hug but he doesn't let go?

He could be shy and can't get the words out as to how he feels about you or even to ask you out on a date. Either that or he's a leturer. If your friends think he likes you then it's possibly true. Stand up for yourself and say "Hey, enough with the hugs already, if you want to ask me out on a date, then ask." if he is your boyfriend it means he never wants to let you go unless you want him to.

if he is not, that means he either likes you and wants to give you hints.

if you like him, hug him back ans ask him if he likes you.

Well there are 3 types of hugs that have a definiton. For example the 1st hug is when the male or female gives a hug but you lower body is about 2 feet away and the only thing that is close to you is their arms.... that's call the "I just met you and were starting to get to know eachother hug", 2nd hug is when the male or female gives you a close and personal hug but with theirs hands or arms rested on your upper body........ that's called the" Friendship hug" the last hug is more or less the same as the 2nd hug but instead of their arms resting on your shoulders they are more on your lower back close to your butt........that's called the" I really like you" hug .... i hoped this helped.!
