A low battery can cause the electrical system to flash check engine lights
When my check engine light comes on, it is caused by the temperature sensor not working. As soon as the light comes on, my temperature drops to cool. If the light goes out, the temp gauge returns to normal.
The coomputer detected a fault in one of the sensors or the engine, transmission, ABS, or EVAP system is malfunctioning
Transmission jumping hard is the malfunction causing check engine light to come on,most likely its the tcc solonoid causing this or a possibility of causing this.
NO it does not. The check engine light comes on when the ECU detects a problem with the emissions system and has nothing whatsoever to do with the outside temperature.
why do check engine light comes on
It's not supposed to be on. It comes on when engine reaches certain temperature. But if you see that temperature gauge is going in the red area you need to check the fan relay, its fuse, and the temperature sensor.
If an engine transmission light comes on in the dashboard there can be a potential problem with the drive-train. The engine's computer should receive a diagnostic to determine if there is anything wrong with the transmission.
Check coolant level Could be thermostat opening and closing due to engine coolant temperature flutuation
If it comes on it means the temperature of your engine is too hot. Your engine is overheating.
No , the CHECK " GAGE " light comes on if the gas gauge is at or near empty , the engine coolant temperature is HIGH , or the engine oil pressure is LOW
Have electronic vehicle speed sensor in transmission checked out. It will cause loss of speedometer function and set a fault code(check engine light).
In my experience no, But it all comes down to what kind of car you have, All cars are different
