It depends - if you have a dream about your friends or family or possibly a relationship partner, and its good, then you're OK. But if you have a dream where something bad is happening like you break up or fight, then that usually means that you are worried about something that may have to do with your future with that person or people.

Dreaming of somebody does not mean anything special; it does not mean that person is thinking of the dreamer or dreaming about the dreamer. Neither does it mean that there will be a future meeting or relationship. The subconscious mind creates dreams from the dreamer's thoughts, emotions, memories or straight out of the imagination. If one has been thinking a lot about somebody, it would not be unusual for that person to appear in one's dreams. Otherwise, "somebody" might be nothing more than a random image appearing in the dream for no particular reason.

∙ 9y agoContrary to popular superstition dreaming about someone does NOT mean that person is thinking or dreaming about you. Your dreams originate from your own unconscious mind. You might dream about a person because you find them interesting or attractive, or because they have qualities that remind you of some other significant person in your life - possibly reflecting yourself.

∙ 9y agoContrary to popular superstitions that are circulating on the internet, dreaming about somebody does NOT mean that person is thinking or dreaming about you. There is no magical transmitter/receiver in the human brain that somehow activates during sleep to share dreams between individuals. Your dreams exist only inside your own brain; they do not influence anyone else's dreams and no one's dreams influence yours.
