What does it mean if you have a hole the size of the tip of a pen next to your molars It bleeds when I brush and I can fit the tip of a toothpick inside of it?

a hole in a tooth is called a cavity and is caused by too much sugar and germs and crap like that in your teeth and isn't coming off. when it bleeds it is probably from it coming through to the gum of your mouth and the prickles on your toothbrushscratch your gum. its really not too bad but i think you can get your dentist to fill them in for you maybe you should ask him/her.
