In any case it would have a letter after the date, not a number. The letter is called the "series letter" and indicates which administration of the Treasury Secretary and/or Treasurer issued the bill. No letter indicates the first administration, "A" is the second, and so on.
Unlike coins, bills only change date when new cabinet officers are appointed or a new design is issued. The practice of starting with no letter and having A = #2, B = #3, etc. makes things even more confusing, but the government has been doing it that way for about a century.

Any one know how much a blue 5 dollar bill 1934 series s wort
In circulated condition, about $8.00
A 1934 A green seal one hundred dollar bill is only worth face value unless it is in perfect mint condition. If it has a star following the serial number, it could be worth up to $200 depending on the serial number and condition.
A bill's serial number is just a counter and doesn't help to ID it. What matters are the seal color, date, and series letter. Despite its age, a 1934-A $20 bill retails for about $22-24 in average condition.
