Probably nothing, but if your house is continually a mess than either learn to clean up a bit or go over to his house more often. One of my friends used to have a dog and i HATED going over their because they never bathed the dog. Plus her mom was always at work and she and her brother were pigs! Their house smelled really bad and eventually i told her that i just cant stand it any more. Whenever i would go over their i always got huge headaches because the smell would clog my sinuses.
Ask him why, if he cant give you a direct answer it means he doesn't want to hurt your feelings not that he doesn't want to tell you.
Also he might not want to go over their if you live in a shady neighborhood or if there's just nothing to do and he gets bored easily.
Either way it has nothing to do with you... just your house
