It depends on their age. If they're pretty young, they might just be going through a phase and trying out new looks and wanting to be more grown-up. If they're pre-teen or teen, however, they might be using drugs or going through a mental crisis. In either case, I'd try having a long talk with them and tell them how worried you are. You might also make an appointment with a family therapist who can help you deal with whatever is going on and help you help your child.

I consider spoiled child "bad" because of attitude: 1. Manipulation 2. Blackmail 3. Bribery 4. Physical violence 5. Threats 6. Temper tantrums 7. "Fake" good behavior A child like this needs to be disciplined and taught as early as possible that this behavior is NOT acceptable.
