What does it mean when your cat pukes?

Dogs throw up for pretty much the same reasons as humans do - it could be the equivalent of a stomach flu, or something much worse. You can tell if it's bad if the puke has blood in it, or something else 'unexpected'. When your dog throws up, call your vet soon!

Well i dont have have an answer but my dog just threw up and I got worried so I called my mom a.k.a dog expert and she told me maybe it was of those two pieces of salami she gave her earlier but now she ate it again we just have to wait for her to throw up again

Dogs will vomit when they have eaten something that the stomach doesn't like. Examples: eating grass will sometimes do it. My dog does it if I feed him more than a small scrap of potato peel. The key is to examine the vomitus for worms. If there are worms in it, then you need 2 trips to the veterinarian 2 weeks apart to have him de-wormed. (Also called "wormed")

If he does it more than a couple times within 10 or 15 minutes, or if he does it the following day(s), too, then a vet should see him.

It is far more likely that the dog's stomach is protecting him by throwing up weird stuff than it is that he is ill. But again, see a vet if it continues.

Usually just a hairball. Cats tend to get them more often if/when they shed a lot.

If your cat throws up excessively (a lot), you may want to consider taking him or her to the vet to get examined.

If you mean it's regurgitated a recently-eaten meal - the commonest cause is that the temperature in the vivarium is too low. Snakes need high temperatures for their bodies to produce digestive enzymes. Another cause is handling the snake too soon after it's eaten. If a snake feels threatened - it's first defence is to discard any recently eaten meal - in order for it to make a swift get-away.

The two main causes are:- (1) It has a medical problem or (2) It's enclosure isn't hot enough for it to digest its food. In case (1) - see a vet ASAP. for case (2) raise the temperature to within the range for the species !
