Dreams like this are very common. Physically, your body goes into a state of mild paralysis while you are dreaming. This is a good thing! You wouldn't want to be screaming out loud or jumping out of bed all night long. Symbolically, being unable to scream for help in a dream suggests that in some area of real life, you feel that you are not being heard, or that your voice is not reaching those who should be listening to you.
Well in my expeirience I've had many dreams like tht of my parents when I was a kid and they went to some party. Or something and it was what was happening right then when I was dreaming then and when someone walked into me I woke up

∙ 13y agoDreams speak through symbols, so this dream is more likely to refer to some problem that is "screaming" for attention than about an actual person screaming. The message is that the dreamer is unable to do anything to improve a bad situation.
Well, if you cant get to a person then it simply means (if it might happen) that you'll not be able to help that screaming person in need of help.
OR
it might be yourself trapped inside your head, not knowing what to do with the screaming person in need.
