St. Peter is traditionally regarded as the gatekeeper at the entrance to heaven; he holds the Keys of the Kingdom. So this dream could refer to the dreamer's concern about whether he/she will be found worthy to enter heaven. Alternatively, St. Peter could refer to the Pope (who sits on the thrown of Peter) or to a city or building named after the saint, or to some person with any version of the name "Peter." Other details in the dream could provide clues as to its meaning.
When I dreamed of St Peter I saw him coming down on a cloud after my grandmother who was in a garden chopping with a hoe. I said to her here comes St.Peter and she said tell him I'm not ready yet. About 1 week later I dreamed about him again but he didn't appear instead it was the figure of a horse head on a cloud, all white and again my grandmother was chopping with a hoe. I heard St. Peter's voice calling for her but she didn't answer. In reality she was in the hospital and had her leg amputated twice I assume that's what the chopping with a hoe symbolized and after the last operation she died. But called my brother by his name and told him St Peter had come for her and she was ready. Neither of them knew about the dream. Her funeral possession was lead off by a white vehicle with the figure of a horses head on the hood.
