In Greek mythology, dreams came to sleepers through two gates, one of horn and one on ivory. The names of the gates are a play on words: in the Greek language, the word for horn sounds like the word for "fulfill," in contrast to the word for ivory which sounds like the word for "deceive." These images appear in a number of classic Greek poems, including The Odyssey. See link for further information.

The second question seems to confuse the word "ivory," which is elephant tusk, for "ivy" which is a climbing vine. It is ivythat grows on walls and fences, and needs to be regularly pruned away from gates and arches.

What do you do in dr. hare's dream on Super Villain Island?

In Dr. Hare's dream, you have to dig down through the anthill with your axe, which you can also use to kill the ants (usually works). At the bottom of the second level is the Empty Sprayer, which you use with the turpentine from Captain Crawfish's dream when you clean paintings in Black Widow's dream. Once you have the Stopwatch (also from Crawfish's dream), you can go through the Binary Bard's dream to find the Diamond Drill, which lets you dig through the metal squares and reach Dr. Hare, who is down on the third level. His totem is just to his right.

What are caves archs stacks and stumps?

Caves are caused by erosion by the sea. Eventually the erosion wears a hole all the way through, creating an arch. After a while, the arch breaks down, forming a stack. When that is weathered even more, whatever is left is a stump. So first, erosion makes a cave. Then a hole is weathered all the way through creating an arch. After more erosion the top of the arch loses support and breaks off leaving a stack. Finally more weathering creates a stump.
