You listen to the voice go God telling you what to do
Say 'I invite the holy spirit in' and the holy spirit will come in
Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then the one being confirmed says: "Amen." Then the bishop will say: "Peace be with you." And the confirmande will say: "and with your spirit" while shaking the bishop's hand.
To be honest we don't know if God is a person but people say he is a spirit because of the holy Trinity (The Father, the son and holy spirit.) I guess we will never really know until we die.
The term "Holy Spirit" in Latin is "Spiritum Sanctum."
The bishop will say "Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and you say "Amen". Then he says "Peace be with you" and you say "And also with you"
The scriptures describe the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Holy Trinity, sent by God to guide, comfort, and empower believers. The Holy Spirit is seen as the source of spiritual gifts, wisdom, and understanding, and is believed to dwell within believers to help them live according to God's will.
The priest will say "be sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit" and the candidates will reply "Amen" :)
When we say the Holy Spirit is the love of God, we mean that the Holy Spirit embodies and manifests God's love in the world and within believers. This love is relational, connecting individuals to God and to one another, fostering unity and spiritual growth. The Holy Spirit also empowers believers to express love through actions and service, reflecting God's nature and presence in their lives. Ultimately, the Holy Spirit serves as a bridge between God's love and human experience, enabling a deeper understanding of divine affection and grace.
say the holy words
esprit
Thank you.
There is currently no scientific way to determine the answer to this. It depends on your faith and your skepticism. Many people do believe they exist although no one can know for sure. Investigations have taken place, some say they do, some say they don't. We will never know for sure but those who seek comfort in what they believe should not be judged.
