Medicare Part A covers a semiprivate room, meals, general nursing, medications, and supplies while hospitalized. It does not cover a private room unless a semiprivate room is not available.
relative value basis
It was a semiprivate room which was shared by 3 people,(semiprivate means to be shared by usually 3 people) was in the center of the house.
The patients were in a semiprivate room along with three other people.
i just did the pre-surgical testing earlier this week (11/2011) at hss (by the way, excellent hospital, this will be my 3rd surgery there). i don't remember the exact prices but the starting rate was around $1,000 a night for a private room upgrade and there was another option for a (i'm assuming a deluxe) private room for somewhere around $1,300-1,500, definitely under $2,000 a night. these prices i assumed are in addition to the base price of the semiprivate room, which i do not know the the price for. sorry it was a long day, and i just can't remember. i hope this helps
hospital in surgery room
It depends on the size of the hospital
An operating room is a room in a hospital where surgeries take place.
ward
Is oxygen considered included in room and board
There are a number of things that can happen in a hospital room. There are many different types of hospital rooms such as labor and delivery rooms where a woman is giving birth to a baby. They have surgical rooms where surgeries take place so there are a lot of things that can happen in a hospital room.
The main room will have several beds and is a hospital ward. A side ward may have one or two beds. A private room will only have one bed.
