Yelling out No in your sleep? Hmm sounds like your having Night Terrors. These occur at any age. Night Terrors usally occur when you havn't had enough sleep or if your stressed. Normally subjects who have Night Terrors remember their vivid dream. During the time of a Night Terror subjects thrash around, scream, and sometimes are aware of the people trying to wake them. Fallowing a Night Terror subjects find it hard to fall asleep again resulting in minor Imsamnia until they are comfortable again. People with Night Terrors usally sleepwalk afterwards or have Lucid Dreams and Micro Sleeping.
Just to explain the few others that I listed above and a few other related topics.
Imsamnia- hard time falling/staying asleep
Lucid Dreams- dreams in which the subject awakens in their dream and contenues with their daily rituals exmap: getting ready for school/work. It's often recalled as a dream inside a dream. Sometimes in Lucid Dreams one repeats this over and over again. For example I one experianced Lucid Dreaming and got ready for school, opened the door to leave and found myself waking up again and repeating the proscess over and over until my alarm woke me up and I really did go to school.
Micro Sleeping/Napping- After long periods of lack of sleep or no sleep, one's brain will temporarily shut you body down as if you were sleeping. This can happen at anytime and without warning. The subject is aware of reality and their dream, often confusing the two. This causes axiety when woken and only last up to a minute.
