If a broody chicken pushes away an egg, it can mean two things:
Non-broody chicks will push an egg out of its way because the egg is in its way. Several hens may use the same nest, and some hens do not want to sit on an egg while she is trying to deposit one.
Ummm throw it away. are you sure its not a chicken egg?
I think it means this:"Which came first, chicken or egg?".
No because they take the egg away from the chicken before it can be in the proper conditions to hatch.
The egg, 1st of all because there were eggs long before birds, but if you mean a chicken's egg then it is still the egg. This is because when a new species evolves, the egg is say, given birth to a sub-chicken, and the new species (chicken) is inside the egg, which is techically now a chicken's egg.
It means the egg was fertilized :\
Not neccesarily...
Carbon dioxide and water vapor
chances are the hen had difficulty in laying the egg, try giving it some chicken mash instead of corn
which came first, the chicken or the egg? it kind of means, like, asking an unsolvable question. or it could mean simply, arguing that question. the chicken came first though, God created the chicken, which lays the eggs... just saying ;)
It all depends on the question. If you mean, which comes first, then, according to all scientific knowledge on evolution, the egg came first. There had to be a progenitor species that laid an egg. And that egg incurred a small mutation that resulted in a new species equivalent to the chicken. Then, the new chicken species hatched from the egg.
