Haha, I go through the same thing. I really hate it when my friend gets jealous and competitive but I usually turn the tables on her. If she says something or does something competitive just say like "Why do you want to compete with me." , "Your know in friendship, friends are equal" or you just say to him or her "What do I do/Stop being jealous".
