well, to get a one hundred percent accurate answer, you should ask him. but i would infer that when he called you his teddy bear, that meant that he cared about you and he loved you. maybe he means that he values you like a child would value a teddy bear, meaning he values you as a person or as a girlfriend.

Unless he rolled his eyes and said it disdainfully; that would most likely mean he didn't like the bear.

∙ 14y agoA real bear is big, and strong and short tempered and dangerous; but a teddy bear is just harmless and cuddly. What he is saying is that you should not be intimidated by his size or any roughness in his charcter because he won't hurt you.
