It means he is interested but scared out of his mind of you rejecting him. Usually when guys act like this they are being VERY respectful and don't want to overstep the boundaries of the friendship you two have. This means if anything is ever going to happen between you two (assuming you want it to since you wrote to ask this question), you are going to have to take the lead. I suggest you invite him over for dinner and throw some steaks on the grill and make a salad and have ice cream and his favorite cookies for dessert. Watch a movie on On Demand or make it a Blockbuster night. Cuddle on the sofa and then send him home. DO NOT do anything sexual. Remember, he has you on a pedestal, so stay there. If he is even half a man, he'll take it from there.
