It has been my personal experience that people that swap back and forth between charming and angry or demanding are insincere and fall in a personality category I call "users".
People like this will be nice to you as long as they think they are or will be able to get something they want from you.
People like this commonly betray their "Friends" and then laugh off the idea that you were ever their Friend.
This is also the classic behaviour of a abusive spouse or parent. (or boyfriend in this case)
If they do this and maintain they are still your Friend or they still love you it just means they think they can still get something from you.
My very serious recommendation:Have nothing to do with a person like this! Ever! Stay away from him, do not give him affection or money or gifts as when the next betrayal comes it will just get worse.
