Although this is a weird way to say it, it just means that he loves you and cares about you. It's not the same way as an actual baby, but some of the same feelings of love and a need to help still apply.

∙ 11y agoThis completely depends on what you think of the man who is calling you that. If he is your boyfriend and you don't mind being called that as a term of endearment, then its entirely acceptable for you to like being called such a thing, and all you need to do is respond to whatever he was saying before that word, if anything.
Of course if you're not happy about being called this by someone you don't know then it is worth telling them you don't like being called that. Don't get angry about it because you don't want to start an argument, be polite and request they don't call you that.
