that means there's some thing stuck in its eye it happens to my hamster all the time or gunk from its eye hardened and when you pull it of it hurts the hamster I'm 80% sure that it has hardened gunk in its eye

∙ 12y agoIf a hamster has just woken up and only one eye is open, that is fine. It will eventually open up, hamsters are just slow sometimes ;) but if a hamsters eye just starts to close up and get puffy, it might mean it has an eye infection or has something in its eye.
