Rabbits can not mate with guinea pigs. If the rabbit tries to mate with a guinea pig, it means that:
hi it has been known for this to happen it doesnt mean they are gay in anyway its a domineering thing they do when they are telling the other who is boss. u will find 2 does will do this aswell or the doe mount the buck
Well...Um... wanting to mate...
They are probably tired or under the weather.
Because they are different animals, they shouldn't live together. Many places say they shouldn't even be allowed to play together, because rabbits are bigger than guineas, and they could kick them by accident, no matter how gentle they are. Also, rabbits can carry a disease called Bordatella which can be fatal to guinea pigs. No matter how gentle your rabbit is, they shouldn't really be housed together.
you mean girl guinea pig? Right?!? Because if not, at LEAST two weeks.
If what you mean is can you keep guinea pigs indoors, then I can help you. Guinea pigs stay healthier when they are indoors where no bugs can get to them and there is ac. Message me if you have any other guinea pig or rabbit questions!! :D Jillian
It means that they are badly fighting or possibly... reproducing!
because they are 'in season' they need or want to be bred.
Maybe. Most likely. So, it is best to get two guinea pigs from the same pet shop. But my guinea pig is a little self-centered. That doesn't mean your piggy has this personality too. Some guinea pigs are loners. But either way, it is better to get two guinea pigs. I mean who wouldn't want a furry little play mate to see everyday?! Hope this helped!
I think it is natural because, my hamsters do that and look what happened, they ended up with 4 pups! Hope this helped!!!!
Good grief, no. One is simply showing dominant behavior over the other one.
It can mean one of two things it can either be playful or its ready to mate they usually do this when they reach about 6 months old as that's when they reach sexual maturity
